KY Elite 17U lost to Team Thad out of TN last night 87-67. KY Elite was down 7 with around 5 minutes to go before it got out of hand. Team Thad has 2 top 100 kids. Very good team.

I must admit that I am somewhat surprised that KY Elite kept it as close as they did for so long... As good as Team Thad has been hyped up to be, I would have expected the game to be more lopsided. Could it be that Team Thad is just NOT the team everybody thought, or is KY Elite just better than expected?

I must admit that I am somewhat surprised that KY Elite kept it as close as they did for so long... As good as Team Thad has been hyped up to be, I would have expected the game to be more lopsided. Could it be that Team Thad is just NOT the team everybody thought, or is KY Elite just better than expected?

 

This was KY Elite's first time playing together and they were missing 2 players. I think it might be a little bit of both. KY Elite might be better then some people expect. Team Thad was getting very frustrated in the first half. I'm not sure they were expecting KY Elite to play the way they did. Definitely saw glimpses of the hype surrounding Team Thad though. KY Elite turned it over a ton or the game might have been closer.
