April 15, 201511 yr The Nerlens Noel team was top 3 in the pre-season, if memory serves me right. This UK team might be projected the same in the pre-season, but I just don't see them ending it that way unless they land a couple more studs in the recruiting class. That's the big "if" IMO. That team's biggest Achilles was lack of a PG. Next year's team going to have the issue?
April 15, 201511 yr That team's biggest Achilles was lack of a PG. Next year's team going to have the issue? Ulis certainly makes me feel confident about the PG spot. I just don't see much in terms of scoring from what the roster currently looks like. I also have concerns about Skal's eligibility.
April 15, 201511 yr ^What concerns specifically? This thread: http://bluegrasspreps.com/college-basketball/skal-labissiere%92s-recruitment-291130.html Post #8 and then mine at the end.
April 16, 201511 yr Author This thread: http://bluegrasspreps.com/college-basketball/skal-labissiere%92s-recruitment-291130.html Post #8 and then mine at the end. I remember reading that thread but there hasn't been anything else about it. My buddy who thinks he's Mr. KnowItAll because he reads everything said there isn't anything to worry about, but he doesn't read @gametime's stuff on BGP haha! There is no AAU community more loyal to their college program than the folks in Memphis, so it is no surprise Easterwood is making waves a day before a kid spurns the Tigers for Kentucky. That community had little love for Cal when he was it town because he recruited nationally and for the most part cut their impact on the program. Just a side note that needs some attention on the timing here. That said Hamilton has been looking for a way to profit off Skal since he brought him over, and that has been no secret. The NCAA will be involved, and what they dig up will determine if he can play college ball or not... At what point do they start digging?
April 23, 201511 yr Hasn't made up his mind on transferring or going pro, but Chris Walker will not be back at Florida per Evan Daniels. The Gators are going to be even worse next season. Get out while you still can Billy D.
April 26, 201511 yr Reports are that Yogi Ferrell is staying. He apparently did not get any reports of him going in the first round of the draft.
