Cooper 2015 Schedule

So besides beating SK, and NCC, what other game do you see them getting their 3rd win against?

Don't be so quick to give them the win against NCC. Last yr it was the 1st game they played, with a qb situation. We return a lot of good ball players.

Cooper success is no longer a surprise...it's become a norm. Hats off to Coach Borchers, Staff, Athletes, and Community!

Cooper had sucess in 5A but when they play in 6A they usually get dominated by the 6A teams it just shows me how weak 5A really is.

I see that we can add Cooper to the list of teams Ukfan fears will out shine his Pioneers. Congrats Jags!

Nope wrong again.

Except over the last 3 years they've beaten Ryle twice, Boone County 3 times, and Campbell County once (and the other 2 games against Campbell have been close). Yes, SK blew them out twice. But Cooper has shown they can compete with 6A NKY teams. Again, not saying they'll make a playoff run, or beat SK this year, but Cooper is still on the rise.

Cooper has to find a quarterback first if yhey plan on winning games this year.

Nope wrong again.

Sure I am. We've seen it all before.

Who will quarterback the Jags this year?

My bad .. Lack of better words . They return many . Not several. Geesh. But anyways ...I see them winning 5 or 6 games and playing very well . Good luck this season .

Can you imagine his heartbreak if Cooper beats Higlands the first game of the year? It will be like the neighborhood kid coming in and blowing out his birthday cake candles before he got a chance to do it.

Then in what a tragedy it would be in his house if SK then loses to Highlands. Wow. We may have to put him on a 24 hour hold at St E psyche ward.

Back to reality. :D

Add Dixie(2) and Conner to that who is now in 6A also. Really SK is the only school that Cooper has struggled mightily with in 6A. Last year Cooper sat 7 starters for that game and never really had a chance. This year I would expect the Jags to play SK very tough.

To be determined, but definitely a few capable players. If you want a little more athleticism back there, you would probably look at Hendrix or Nathan Brown. If you want more of a true pocket passer, Lonaker, who will be a junior, could get a sniff at it.

Cooper had to find a QB last year and they did. I don't worry with the coaching staff Cooper has in place. They'll find a QB who will get the job done. Also, having Cordell in the backfield will help whoever plays QB.

What about their Frosh quarterback that got moved up mid season. Does he have a shot at it? Schlarman?
