Cooper 2015 Schedule

To be determined, but definitely a few capable players. If you want a little more athleticism back there, you would probably look at Hendrix or Nathan Brown. If you want more of a true pocket passer, Lonaker, who will be a junior, could get a sniff at it.

In cases like this, I think you go with the smarter kid. Whoever knows the system the best and can remain calm in the tough times of the game. I got to see Cooper play a couple of times last year and they appeared to not use their quarterback much to run the ball. If that is the case, maybe a more pocket oriented qb may be better suited. If he is a junior, they will not be changing qb's year after year and build some stability at that position. Just my opinion.

Cooper has to find a quarterback first if yhey plan on winning games this year.

Yes, poooor Cooper...only four or five capable kids on the roster this year. What will become of us??? Last season, Prickett won the job in the final pre-season game and that worked out pretty well for the Jags. He missed a few downs and we put in an equally good back-up and even ran the wildcat a time or ten. A half a game away from Bowling Green - better than SK finished if I remember correctly with their roster chock full of D1 recruits.

What about their Frosh quarterback that got moved up mid season. Does he have a shot at it? Schlarman?

Yes
