Coach K ties Jon Wooden for most Final Fours

Coach K ties Jon Wooden for most Final Fours

How many?

Two turnovers the entire game until the intentional one at the end to get the scrubs in. Pretty good recipe for success.

Said this earlier this season. If Duke was going to make a run the tournament it was going to be on the back of Justise Winslow. He has been great so far.

There was 4:51 left in the game when Wiltjer missed a layup, and absolute uncontested bunny, that would have tied the game at 53 all. Instead, Duke outscored Gonzaga 13-1 to finish the game. The Bulldogs never even scored as many points as that layup would have given them.

Duke finished with three turnovers, and one of those was a shot clock violation at the end where they just literally let it go. Two turnovers in the first 39:58 of the game, tough to beat. Duke got nothing from their bench, but did have a strong trio of Matt Jones (16), Justice Winslow (16), and Tyus Jones (15). Matt Jones in particular gave them the early boost, going 4/7 from three.

Interesting that it's Duke's first Final Four since 2010. The site of that one? Indianapolis.

On a historical note, I know that the final most of us (and CBS and the country for that matter) are hoping for is Kentucky and Duke. This is their first Final Four together since 1978, and also were in one together in 1966. They've met each time they both made it there.

That lay-up miss CRUSHED the Zags chances.

Hasn't Duke already beaten 2 of the Final 4 this season?

I agree, but this could as easily be an all Big 10 Final as well
