Congrats to Boyle Co. What a run they are on.

I saw Steve Adams after the game eating at Saul Good with his family. He was smiling ear to ear.

Trinity fan needs to do what they do best... Remain quiet until football season.

Wow a little touchy are we? No comments about Ballard's apparent inability to close the deal? Other then Trinity, Ballard has played lackadaisical ball late in the season. Apparently it finally bit them on the backside. Who is at fault for that?

Does anybody know why the Ballard student was escorted out by the police last night? I have never seen a kid go off on 4-5 officers in my life. He was literally screaming at them. The student section was chanting freedom of speech???? It was not a good scene.

Ballard's student section has a history of pushing the envelope and being downright tasteless and their adult "supervision" seems to be deaf to it.. Not a surprise at all

I couldn't be happier for my Rebels but there is still work to do.

I can't speak highly enough of Jalen Perry. He did all he could to will the team to victory but was denied. Watching him play was awesome though. Everytime he shot it I expected it to go in. Most time it did. He is an awesome player.

Last night's winner of the game was going to come down to which team got the most help from their role players and the Rebels role players were amazing last night. Since the region tournament the whole team has played defense a whole lot better and while Colton cleans up a lot of mistakes the whole team did a great job of shutting down everyone else on Ballard.

Keagan Hinkle was huge last night. I don't have the stats on me but I know he may have had around 9-10 points and made some timely free throws. Great game by Keagan that helped us a ton to get the win.

Colton Elkins had a great game tonight. He had two blocks called for goaltending that I thought were blocks and had some inspirational dunks tonight as well. I believe the proper term for one of them is called "catching a body". The biggest Elkins story of the night is that I believe he was 6-8 from the FT line.

Chapman Bean and Josiah Robbins may not have shown up much in the box score but their hounding defense and stability they bring to the lineup has to recognized once again. The rotation of Keagan, Josiah and Chapman is a huge part of our success and tonight against BG one of them will have to provide a scoring punch along with the defensive toughness they bring to the team. Which one is going to score the ball tonight? Stay tuned!!!!

I've said it all year....Jeremiah and Hagen are the best backcourt in the state. I'll take those two against anyone in the state and I couldn't be happier for the both them right now. We still have work to do though. We have to beat my beloved Purples tonight after the first game. Let's get to work.

I also need to give a HUGE shout out to Zach Leigh. I'm sure Zach hasn't seen the floor as much as he'd like to this season but in both of our games in the Sweet 16 Colton has gotten into early foul trouble and Zach has come off the bench to spell Colton. Zach has provided solid defense and scored when he has had scoring opportunities and I am super happy for him as he is being rewarded handsomely by performing well at Rupp Arena when his team needs him the most. Corey Douglas had a breakaway dunk attempt and Zach ran him down and gave him a good foul without intent to injure but with intent to not let that dunk be good. Douglas promptly missed the two free throws. Great foul in a day and age where too many kids just watch the dunk instead of making it hard on the dunker. Keep shining, Zach!!!!!!

Another sort of Bowling Green/Boyle County connection is that Boyle County Assistant Coach Brian Britt is from the Bowling Green area but attended Warren East. I'm sure he wants to win this game even more than I do. :lol2:

We were. After beating down a soft trinity bunch .. We too got soft.

And that's on the coach for not having his team ready. I guess Ballard no longer aspires to win championships, just to beat Trinity.

Some people don't like taking what they give.

Some people need to talk about the game.
