A Good Place to Get Great Pie

Featured Replies

My goodness, Judy's is STILL around? First place I ever ate in BG during my high school college visit. Second place was Mary's, I know she's been gone decades.

Mary's is still there, but under a new name. I think it's called 6th Street Diner now.

My son always makes me take him to Double Dogs. I like DD's but next trip I'm picking the restaurant.

Magee's Bakery, Orangeburg Road, east of Maysville.

I was wondering when you were going to plug transparent pie...

Irons Fruit Farm in Lebanon has a ridiculously good Carmel Apple Pie.

Steph Zink down at Little Rock Farm in Camp Springs has truly GREAT homemade pies.

Occasionally, she will have a Pie day, and this past Saturday in honor of Pi Day had a Pie Day.

You owe it to yourself to check it out. Between Alexandria and Silver Grove.

Patti's Place in Grand Rivers, KY has a wonderful selection of pies. My favorite is the coconut cream with about 8" of meringue on top. Moonlite Barbecue in Owensboro usually has a good selection of pies. I always have to get a slice of the buttermilk pie when I go there.
