Final

What an amazing run for the Lady Royals. That was a group of Sophomores and Freshmen that were steps away from playing in the State Championship game. Simply unbelievable. Can't wait to see what the next 2 years has in store for this group of girls.

Congrats to the Royals! Great season for a young team! Nothing to hang your heads about!!

Thanks for all the updates. We really appreciate them. :thumb: Great run by the Lady Royals. 3''s not falling for them like they had in other games, but that is basketball. With a young team the future looks bright for them. Congrats on a great season.

Best of luck to ACS in the finals.

Great run for the young Lady Royals!!!

I'm sure they are disappointed today, after having held a comfortable lead at halftime. Droughts do occur, and unfortunately they were besought by a 13-0 run early in the second half. They still managed to rebound, get the game tied up and were right there two minutes out.

I'm sure we will see more of them down the road.

Congrats to AC-S on the win. They deserve to be playing for the title.

Special congrats to this still-young group of Lady Royals. What a magical post-season! If you had told me as late as mid-February that this team would be three baskets from playing for the state championship, I would have initiated a commitment process.

Great strides made by this group as the season progressed, and more good things to come!

Great job and season by the Lady Royals. Try to hold for last shot at half but had a costly turnover for a basket which started the momentum swing. Could not buy a basket in third quarter and fouls did not go our way. ACS did not shot a FT in the first half and they got in the bonus early in the third and went 20-28 in the second half which pretty much done us in. Great end of the season run and I want to thank the girls for ending the Curse!

Congrats to UK signee Morgan Rich and her teammates!
