Huh? Did I miss something. I said he will do a good job and wished him luck. I was thinking another candidate would of gotten the job but Mr Haskamp was hired instead. Good for him and appears like a good hire.

This is a pretty weak hire in my opinion. There were several heavy hitters that were much more qualified. KN did not even apply because he did not meet the qualifications. A good way to look at this is that a warm body is certainly better than nobody at all.

For those of us who aren't familiar w/ this hire, but will have kids playing at Highlands in the future, why is this hire getting such animosity?

He attended a CCH feeder school I believe. I think his family moved out of the NKY area when he was about to enter high school or early into high school.

LOL...I hear ya but you know this high profile position at a school like Highlands will come with a whole bunch of politics, pressure, etc and a fella better not be thin skinned or have rabbit ears...

KN did apply. As did 2 others. BW had the job if he wanted it, but he did not.

Just to be honest. I don't know this man. Just wondering why an athletic director is getting attention at all? Pay the bills, hire the coach, schedule some games. Kind of like a secretary who likes sports.. No big deal really.
