Not saying it is or isn't, but it does specifically say some contractual agreements prevent Corning from stating whether it is used in some products, and that the list isn't necessarily comprehensive. Everything I've seen and read, is that it's widely believed that it is Gorilla glass that is used in the Iohone 6.

Someone on BGP knows, they can clear it up for us.

We'll likely never get 100% confirmation on this if Apple has a contract with Corning stating that neither company can confirm a Gorilla Glass inclusion. I still like my screen protector addition.

The tempered glass protection as stated by someone else is a great purchase. I bought mine on amazon for less than 15 dollars.

That's my understanding as well. I know some folks who were pretty excited about it.

What is it made of? Everything I've seen and heard was that Gorilla glass has been on every Iphone produced. I do know they were considering switching to Sapphire glass for the 6, but I thought they stuck with Gorilla.

 

I could be wrong but I believe the company who made Sapphire went out of business.
