I've heard credible reports of people being stranded for 11 hours now. Also hearing reports that northbound is backed up past Bowling Green to a little north of E-Town.

 

Wow. I feel bad for those people.

Now Simba only wants to stay in for about 20 minutes at a time. Then he whines to go back outside. I think I may go send him to live with RTS for a few days.

 

Levi is now in on the bed in the guest bedroom, all sprawled out. :lol2: Buddy is sprawled out on the couch beside me for now, but once he wakes up, he'll be all crazy again and with no way to expend that energy, this will be the cycle for the foreseeable future.

National Guard has been sent to I65.

I tried to get our dog Coco to go out this morning. He took one look and ran back to the bedroom and wanted to get in bed with Mrs. nWo who was still sleep!!

They're starting to get people to the shelter in E-town! One guy was stuck with a 2 year old and a 3 year old just south of E-town. He had a quarter tank of gas when he got stuck. Managed to make it though, and I'm so thankful! That would have been a terrible tragedy!

Been working nights for a little while. Drive home was a blast! Just finished clearing the drive and the walkway, enjoying what may be our last snowfall of the season. Winter is so beautiful!

 

Normally, you and I get along so well. If you aren't being sarcastic, right now isn't one of those 'normal' times.

I have a FB friend whose niece has been stranded there on the highway since 9pm last night. They are still there.

Yep, I have a couple of drivers stranded right now.

Murray 10"

Hopkinsville 14"

Paducah 14"

Madisonville 22"

 

Another problem is a half dozen snow plows are reported as stuck right now.

Weather events like these are one reason I've made watching the weather one of my hobbies.
