Oh my...again...every time you type...

It's called "Keyboard Diarrhea". Usually brought on by Keyboard Jockeys that refuse to use a saddle when rough riding on the keyboard.

It was an off shooting night for Hannah, but I prefer to give credit where credit is due.

Coach Clink and his staff had another good defensive game plan, just as they had in the other two games the teams played this season.

In all three games Hannah rarely had any easy looks. Some nights the shots don't fall. Happens at every level.

One more thing to add. 8 rebounds, 4 blocks, and 2 assists does not sound like a "going out with a whimper" to me.

And.....those blocks were not the result of an offensive player shooting into the defenders hands, as is usually the case in high school girls basketball. Not bad for a 5'7" guard.

Forgot to add.................congrats to Coach Howell and her team on a great season. The past four years have been real fun.

Points come easier when the game is already decided!

 

Onceuponatime, I am a Walton-Verona fan and parent. I hope everyone on here knows that you are not speaking for the fans of WV. Hannah Dossett is a great player and a great kid. I am always amazed at how people on here attack kids and coaches behind a screen name. Be bigger than that! Talk about good things that you see at games and build people up. You might feel better about yourself.

Expressing disappointment in an athletic performance is HARDLY attacking anyone. If we were talking about a football player here, we would not be here, When you have so many coaches that coach their own children, especially females, they reject anything critical and toss each other softballs in online forums. Yet, they would have no problem, and have in the past dispense much harsher criticism to male players and athletic programs.

 

If I had truly attacked an athlete on here, I assure you I would not still be posting!

I wouldn't call it an "attack", but classless nonetheless. I have learned that when small people can't measure up to the people they criticize, they try to bring them down to their level.

I have no dog in this and am not supporting onceuponatime's observations about the game because I wasn't there. But I do think those who coach and/or have a kid who plays and make posts to this board should get over themselves. If you can't handle what people have to say about your team or a player on your team then maybe you shouldn't participate. This is a discussion board. Not everyone is going to give positive feedback on your team or kid. It would be a pretty dull place to discuss this great sport if that were the case.

You have to take it into context. It's coming from a person who wondered why Shelby County and Simon Kenton were in the same bracket.

I have no dog in fight, In My OP this is the place to , why not it is an OP site. And every body has a user name, so I hate when people talk about hiding be hind a key board. Onceuponatime gave her OP about a game and a player, so what. This is the place for it. I have never seen either team or the Dossett girl play, so I don't know much, I get she was POY, and Is a shooter. The thing about a shooter is there will be off nights, there will be nights you make everything , and nights miss everything, 15 points doesn't sound to bad. And being POY , I`m sure the other team`s game plan was to do as much as they could stop her,. That can make for a off night. With that said, I think a few people are giving onceuponatime to much hate, its a OP site , good or bad.

You are right....it ends with some of the people on here squaring off with each other at these games and going to jail. Anonymity allows everyone to express their opinion freely without threat of any physical altercations.
