March 3, 201511 yr When my oldest was only about 3, we taught him that North Carolina stinks. We had some family members that were Tarhill fans and he would argue with them by telling them NC stinks. That evolved also into Duke stinks, etc. It was cute and funny. Fast forward a year or so, and one day we were traveling to Charleston and he realized we were in WV. He asks real serious "Dad, what does West Virginia smell like?" We just rolled laughing because we realized he thought we were talking about actual smell.
