February 26, 201511 yr I'd like to see the hushpuppies that go along with this dinner! That fish would be enough for two Lenten fish fries.
February 26, 201511 yr I'd like to see the hushpuppies that go along with this dinner! :thumb: My first thought was fries and cole slaw but I love me some hushpuppies too!
February 26, 201511 yr According to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife website, Wels Catfish have a lifespan lasting as long as 80 years. The 280-pound catfish was definitely on the older side in the species' age group.
February 26, 201511 yr Thing looked dead to me (If it was indeed real) I only watched video once, but I never once saw gills move, mouth move, tail move etc. I have caught many catfish in my lifetime, of course non as large as that one. (Biggest was 58lbs) But - I can say every dang one of them never stopped moving the whole time they were on shore or in the boat. Anyone else ????
