Huge rivalry game on Wednesday with a spot in the 10th Region Tournament on the line.

 

Camels edged the Mustangs 52-50 in their regular season meeting, but both teams were missing some key players. Campbell also defeated Brossart to win last year's District crown.

Onl thing is if Brossart gets hot from beyond the arc and/or Jackson was to find himself in foul trouble it could possibly be an upset. Unlikely but possible

Hoping for a repeat of 2009 when the Camels laid a 45-27 wallop on our Mustangs in the Crosstown, only to be upset in the district 53-46.

 

That year, as in this one, the Camels appeared to have superior height and talent with names like Ben Franzen, Patrick Nerl, Petey Albrecht, and Brady Jolly. The Camels went in as heavy favorites, but the Mustangs went to the regional.

 

It would appear that the Camels have the upper hand again this year, but the Mustangs (and Camels) are back in the gym, and Mike Code has four days to prepare for them. I'm sure that Coach Russell isn't looking past us too far.

While we have had broadcast issues out of the Campbell County Middle School in the past, I have switched to an ATT mi-fi and am getting better results. No issues with the girls game broadcast last night. Keeping my fingers crossed for a clean live broadcast tonight.
