February 19, 201511 yr I say no because Wade is about as broke down as Kobe. He is incapable of being relied on at this point. While Dragic is talented and improves their roster I don't see it being enough to beat the Hawks, Raptors, Wizards, Bulls or Cavs.

They're not the Spurs even though they try to be. I'm not buying the Hawks. There is virtually no blue print for them to follow. Pistons of the Wallace era are the closest talent wise but they had a ton more than Atlanta IMO.

Why does a team have to have a blueprint to follow of what some other team has done to be successful? All original blueprints were eventually created on their and didn't have to follow the blueprint of something else.
February 19, 201511 yr I don't want to buy the Hawks because they are the Hawks. They can score in a variety of ways and have as much talent as anyone in the East. I'd take them over the Heat easily.

With no big dogs on the floor I don't think Korver is as big a factor as he is now in a competitive playoff series. You can shut off the water to what they do and play them one on one. If they win the East, they might win one game against whoever comes out of the West. JMO.

February 20, 201511 yr I can't wait for the playoffs this year. You Hawks haters may be right...we will see. I will be rooting for them because they are fun to watch IMO. I also am not so sure that the East winner will get blown out by the West winner. The West playoffs are going to be grueling. The winner may be on fumes by the finals and the top end East teams (Hawks, Cavs and Bulls) can compete IMO. The beauty is...we shall see...

I can see the Cavs prevailing, but I think the Bulls and Hawks might match-up better against a Western Conference foe.
