Most of the time we see people talk about OL and DL individually, but what about as a unit this past fall. Who had the best OLine and who had the best DLine? Interested to hear some people's thoughts about this topic.

Dixie Heights had very good good line play last year. At least two D1 scholarship recipients. Everyone knew Dixie was going to run the ball and they still couldn't stop them (until they met Trinity).

I don't think anyone had a defensive line unit like Manual, all 3 are division 1 quite possibly. 1 signed this year with WKU, one was a sophomore and one junior.

This season , I believe Scott high school will have a solid offensive line. Many big guys returning . Senior Ron Rice . Junior Gage Tucker these boys did well last season and I look forward into another good performance out of the line this season with Scott's run attack offense.

In NKY Dixe had a great line. Not just the D1 kids but as a whole.

Rice 6'1 290, Tucker 6'3 300 they have a couple of kids in the 300 pound range. But Rice and Tucker have some serious quickness.

Tucker is around 6'4 315 age 15 squatting 550. He will be a junior. Rice is at 6'3 300 they both are very strong and athletic and play both sides of the ball. The rest of line average 6'1 275. This is a solid group returning for the Eagles.

Sounds like a solid Line, but what style of Offense do they run?

They run A fast paced power wing offense. Many different stunts out of that formation. This style works well with the running attack and utilize the size and talent . Defensively more in a 3 ..5 setup

Interesting with that style of play, and the size of that offense of line probably makes getting 4 yards a carry easy, but size isn't everything. Need to get up there and see a game this season.
