February 16, 201511 yr I believe Noel Rash would be a good fit for the Thomas More job and TMC would struggle to hire someone better. Please.
February 16, 201511 yr Please. I am serious. He will need solid coordinators on both sides of the ball and the support of the university but if he has those two things I think Coach Rash is a good fit.

February 16, 201511 yr I believe Noel Rash would be a good fit for the Thomas More job and TMC would struggle to hire someone better. Lots of misinformation out there about this opening. Noel Rash would be a good fit because he PLAYED at that level. But he's on record as not steering his Beechwood kids to Thomas More because of the cost. I'm not sure how this is able to be reconciled. Here is exactly what the school is looking for: Someone with experience at the D3 level and someone who can deal with some of the things that AREN'T in place as of yet at this school (others may refer to them as roadblocks to success). It was also mentioned that TMC would struggle to hire someone better... this is incorrect. I have on very good authority there was a SURPRISING amount of interest in this job at the D3 level. There are over 230 schools playing NCAA Sponsored Football at the D3 level and under Jim Hilvert, TMC became a consistent Top20 program. They had fast-rising coordinators applying from the D3 Level, Head Coaches from schools not in the Top 50 in D3 and they had interest from guys at the D2 level (Coordinators). This job has the following advantages: *Cincy-based recruiting -- just WIN Cincinnati and you'll be a top 20 program *New President -- focused on growing the college organically through its sports programs, ala Mount Union *Alumni Giving Guy in place -- The money should be flowing into the program so they can finish the damn stadium already. Bottom line, they want someone who will embrace the challenges at the school while also taking advantage of the new focus on athletics (under President Armstrong) and they want someone who will stick around (hence the D3 experience).
February 16, 201511 yr In addition: Thomas More interviewed very early two guys already in the program. One has been mentioned here and the other has not. to me, it looked like these two will continue to be a part of the program. They've done a remarkable job holding the ship together for the past 3 weeks.

There are two former Beechwood Tigers on the current TMC roster - Colin Justice and Cameron Lane. Beechwood has many players playing at Georgetown. Tuition at TMC is $13,624. Tuition at Georgetown is $16,480.

February 16, 201511 yr Seems weird then, yeah? All I know is that I trust my source on this. It was said in response to a question about more Beechwood kids NOT attending Thomas More. I think the money given out at GTown helps mitigate that just a bit. You don't think Beechwood has more than 2 kids over the last four years who could've played at Thomas More?

I don't know how the 2 players from Beechwood compares with numbers from other schools. How many players from Highlands, Covington Catholic, Newport Catholic and other top N. Ky. programs are on the current TMC roster?
