That's the assistant coach that all the Ludlow people were high on, the same one offered a HC job at Scott and turned it down to stay at Ludlow. I would think that this has been a done deal for a while and that they are very happy with it.

 

That's just what I remember at least.

This is a great hire I believe! Randy Borchers will do a great job and will just pick up right where Coach Hensley left off and keep things going in the right direction. I know Coach Borchers was the coach that alot of the players and former players wanted to be named Head Coach! He knows all the players very well, and just has a great love for the game!

 

Once again GREAT HIRE by Ludlow, he is definitely the right man for the job, and I wish him the best of luck!!!!!

:thumb: If this is now official as some have apparently indicated then Coach Borchers has my 100% support. Coach Borchers has been at Ludlow during good times and bad times and he has worked hard and has earned the respect of the youngmen on the team. He has definitely earned the opportunity to be a Head Coach and we in Ludlow are glad that he chose to stay at Ludlow rather then take the Scott job last year. I'm certain he will be able to build on the things that have been put into place and will also put his own signature on the Ludlow program. There is a lot to be said about loyalty and Coach Borchers has shown his strong loyalty to the football program, the school and the community. I join all others in wishing much success. :ylsuper:

Congrats to Coach Borchers. Throughout my career, he was with us throughout the good times, and the bad. He cares a great deal for these kids, and has a great football mind. He will do a wonderful job with the Panthers.:thumb: :thumb:
