This makes my forty-thousandth BGP post. Ten posts a day for a little over nine years. Somehow, it seems apropos to make it in this particular thread.

 

Congrats to the Royals players, coaches, staff and fans. Well done.

It's okay buddy, we realize you just think GRC is best and only basketball team on the planet. Just don't see why you can't respect the fact that Mason Co is the better team. 1st half Mason Co struggled against the GRC defense. They went to halftime, made adjustments, then came out and played like they were the better team and made the open shots GRC's defense gave them. At the end of the day they found a way to win like a smart, talented and mature basketball team should.

I indicated that Mason County hit 3 out of 4 field goals in the 2nd half. That is praise enough.

1. We all know what happens when someone assumes, so therefore I was not making you seem like you know less than was you really do.

2. There's a difference in cheering for your own team and hating on another team or putting them down because they defeated your team by 14.

3. GRC shot lights out in the 1st half after the 1st two minutes of the game. Yes we made 3s but it's a sport do you expect them to just lay down and take a loss when they're down?

4. This whole argument is irrelevant because Mason Co won and you're just sad because it was by more than 7 points like you predicted would never happen. And who knows maybe we will meet again, but first things first. Mason AND GRC both have to get to region. Goodbye my "buddy".

Answering 1. I never assume anything.

 

Answering 2. I never hate on any team. I have great respect for Mason County. They defeated GRC on Friday night by hitting 3 out of 4 shots in the 2nd half.

 

Answering 3. GRC did not even shoot 50% in the 1st half. Nowhere near what Mason County did in the 2nd half. What saved GRC in the 1st half was Mason County's turnovers.

 

Answering 4. Sad? I can't wait til we play you again. By calling me buddy, you simply have nothing intelligent and respectful to add. Disingenuous fits so much better though.
