Since it was about as historically accurate as Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter I don't think there is much to be offended by.

 

I don't think any show that portrays a 43 year old Sam Adams leading a group of British soldiers on a Captain Jack Sparrow-like chase through the streets and across the rooftops of Boston is meant to be taken seriously.

I will shamefully admit that I've had a couple more Sam Adams beers since watching it. Usually don't drink it too often.

Lousy, lousy history. Well except for the notion that Sam Adams and John Hancock lived and were around the Boston area.

It's entertaining if you understand that very little of it truly happened or happened in the way portrayed.
