Congrats to these two young ladies on making the Ky. All-Star team. Both of these girls are great basketball players, and should make big contributions to the team. :dancingpa :dancingpa

Is this the KY Ohio game or KY Ind game?

Leigh Audra Perry also made the Ky Ohio game.

 

 

I overlooked these two young ladies before. Congratulations to these two girls also. :thumb:

Oops!! I mistakenly said Ashley Baldwin when in fact it is Leigh Audra Perry who made the team. My apologies to Miss Baldwin...and may I say that had she not sustained a season ending injury, she doubtless would have made the roster.

I know it's a little off the subject but the 16th region, by itself, could field a strong Senior All-Star team next year...I won't begin to name all the players but here's my starting lineup :

 

Emily Queen & Laura Terry from Rose Hill

Jessica Fortman & Chinwe Okoro from Russell

Whitney Seals from Raceland

 

There are several other good players who come to mind to compliment those players in this year's junior class...I just started with the 5 I feel will start the season next year as the Top 5 players in the region...

 

WOW!!! I believe that even I could win a few games with a nucleus like that!!!

Congratulations to the young ladies that have been invited to the All Star games.

 

As for Devil58's team for next year, all they would need is a lightning quick, silver haired matron at the point guard position. Someone with good ball handling skills, the ability to penetrate and kick out, a good defender and vicious under the boards. Someone that makes a mean apple pie, with just a hint of cinammon, topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Someone that can go to her left, without getting caught up in my skirt. Someone that can bring a certain "experience" to the team, that only an older player can possess. Someone that knows how to shave her face without knicking herself ...

 

What's that? Oh, sorry.

This is KY-Ohio and not to take anything away from kids but from what I understand you have to play to play on this team???

 

The Kentucky All-Star tryouts are April 21-22 for the Ky-Ind game.
