January 28, 201511 yr A lot of neat places/things. Some are simple pleasures of life, others more exotic. UKMustang fan reported that he was happy to be in St. Lucia. Interesting, after visiting St. Lucia, I thought that if they every gave the world an enema they'd stick it right up St. Lucia. I'm sure that there are some nice all-inclusives there now where you don't need to venture far from the compound. Any place that lists Sulphur Pits as a tourist attraction, seems lacking. I also thought the Petroleum Tanks were interesting. To each his own. I agree with LAWildcat on St. Maarten. Pure white sand beaches (some clothes optional), warm weather, and if you don't like it on the Dutch side, you can always move over to the English side. The other side is French but they are nice anyway. It's also the clothing optional side.
January 28, 201511 yr Snorkeling or kayaking alone off the coast of Cozumel . The last 3 vacations I've went on we've went snorkeling, the first time not so good. The last 2 times I've went it's been amazing, it's so peaceful and calming to me.
January 28, 201511 yr We have discussed a lake house or a vacation home at times and always decide that we like to try new things. Nice to have that comfy escape but we always seem to find something wonderful on each new adventure.

January 28, 201511 yr NYC. MY wife is from there and has family there. I went once before I met her and fell in love with the place. Now that we are together, we visit there as often as possible. Once I make my second million (haven't made my first yet) I plan on moving there.

You can be anywhere you want in short time if you don't care to ride the subway. Great food, which I love. There is always something to do and new things to see. I've never ran into the English speaking problem. My wife is of Columbian descent, but English is her best language.
