I thought the finale was okay -- nothing special. The prior 2-3 episodes were very, very good. I hope (assume?) it will be back for Season 2. Anyone know for sure?

I didn't think the finale was very good, but the build for the future will keep me watching.

I thought the show got to the next level this season, but the finale wasn't very satisfying. Leaves you wanting more, though.

This season was superb. Might be the best show currently on TV. But yea...I wanted a lot more from the finale.

That's actually what I thought initially. It either has to be him or someone we don't know, right?

 

I also thought the twist with Chuck and the recorder was blatantly obvious.

Chuck's recorder was inevitable.

 

I know what direction Jimmy has to go to become Saul so Chuck screwing him makes sense.

 

But I find myself in denial....rooting for Jimmy.

Mike is a very likeable character.

 

This show is underrated imo.

 

Chuck is a...bad person.

Better season that the first IMO and I think it will only get better from the ending point of it. With being two seasons in, Mike is clearly my favorite character.

Soooo, 8 years later I'm finally on the Saul Train. I really liked Breaking Bad but wasn't a big fan of Saul, so I just never took the time to watch this series. Bored...decided to watch a couple of episodes last week. I'm now halfway into season 2 and I'm hooked. It's easy to see why it had so many Emmy nominations.

Added plus, watching on Netfix means no commercials and no waiting for next week's episode. 

I also loved BB but have not taken the plunge into BCS.

I think you'd like it. It is very well written. Like all series there will be an episode that's a snooze fest along the way, but they all do a good job building the story.
