If Bob had wanted to he could have been a really good official.

 

Bob would make a great ref but would also make a very good college basketball coach...

Bob Burkhart was an outstanding player for Holmes and played freshman ball for uk back in the days when they had freshman teams, Ken Hicks was a pretty good player for Boone County in the 9th.

Don't think he refs anymore but Glen Napier from MC Napier was one of the best and should rank at or near the top. I'm thinking 30+ ppg as a Senior and candidate for Mr. Basketball . Maybe 1978-1980 ....., I'm guessing. Think Erving Stepp beat him out for Mr Basketball . Please correct me if I'm wrong .

He was also a very good basketball player for Morehead State. Was known as a long range sharpshooter.

 

Was a good baseball pitcher too.

Could be wrong but I thought I heard he was already working D1 college ball. Seemed to always keep the game in order when I've seen him ref. Nice official.

Dayton HS Grad and point guard Nathan Hall who started his reffing career in the Dayton Youth League just reffed the Bucknell/Boston U game Saturday. Pretty funny stuff if you look up "deflategate" on Youtube, you will see Mr. Hall replacing an overinflated basketball.......only in New England:laugh:
