No team will come within 10 pts of Newcath...quote me, write it down, post it in each team's locker room if you'd like.

Breds are simply too big and talented for anyone else in this tournament.

Agree with your assessment .. it's NCC's tournament for the taking.

Interesting observation .. a few years ago, St. Henry girls soccer was trying to win a STATE championship, and opted out of the All A tournament because the 6-7 games would eat in to their khsaa allotted number of games, and they wanted more competitive games in preparation for the STATE run. They took a bunch of grief about that. If NCC blows thru the competition this week, then loses out later this season in the Regional tournament, I'm curious if they would have been better prepared by playing a schedule similar to CovCath's. I'm not trying to stir up a hornet's nest, and it's too late to change. NCC has had some quality opponents, but will the 8 victories in the All A benefit them?

In 2010, yes.

Augusta is a sleeper to make it to the finals. Will get demolished by NCC though.

NCC has played a schedule that is very comparable as CovCath's this season.

Agree .. several quality opponents. However, once the calendar has turned to 2015, their best competition would have been:

Jan 2 St Louis Christian

Jan 16 CovCath

Feb 13 Holmes

Feb 17 Trinity

Several opponents are District/NKAC required games, but the majority of the other 12-15 games have been/will be walk-overs.

In 2010, yes.

They did win the State Tourney in 2010, ironically, they were a Finalist in the All A State the same season. I believe that it might have been 2013 that they opted out of the All A.

Call me crazy but I can't see Augusta going very far. They've never been on a big stage before and I can see that affecting them quite a bit. I'll take NCC to win it again.

Here you go. "You're crazy."

If they make it to the Finals, which I think they do, they benefit by playing on college size floor for 4 games. Add in the 2 at the BOKC, and they play more games on a college floor than CovCath.

I voted for my alma mater but I never expected the vote to be so lopsided, goodness!
