Wasn't at the game but got updates that McNeil was unconscious! Team woke up after a slow start and without Hathorn and played a great 2nd half with great defense (a Coach Sully staple).

 

Congrats to the Jags on getting back in the hunt for another district title.

I think Boone and Cooper are now 3-1 in the 33rd.

Played quite a few games in the summer with Kunkel, had no idea he was a frosh. Dead eye stroke from 19'9".

Love it when my guy Junior puts up the points.

We are currently tied with a 3-1 District record. Played an on and off first half, was really back and forth until the fourth and then McNeil hit 12th gear and carried Cooper to victory. Watson filled in nicely in the Hathorn role, gave 43 a hard time when he was in, though he played quite well.

Thanks! I know all these guys. Just hope they all get to have a nice second half to their senior season. Gone in the blink of an eye. All great kids.

Junior was unstoppable and with Hathorn out he had free reign underneath. Stanley only had 9 pts and if I'm not mistaken 7 or maybe all 9 were in the first half. He hit 5 right at the start of the game and the defense Cooper played shut him down the rest of the way.

 

McNeil was the man! 30 pts and most in the 2nd half carried Cooper to a 10 point victory. The kid is just special and a joy to watch.

 

If Cooper and Boone both beat Conner, the district will be decided by a coin flip.
