Didn't watch. Have no desire to.

In some areas I feel the country's in a better position than we were in 2008, and in many others I feel we're worse off. I'm extremely confident that whomever the sitting President is has no impact on that thought as well.

I agree with you that Presidents get too much credit and too much blame. Much of what happens is beyond their control, especially economically. But the fact is we the people assign blame and credit to the President for what happens when he is in office.

You all are going to be shocked when I am supporting Rand Paul in the next election. You want to put me in your little label box as another liberal Dem supporter, but the fact is I give credit where credit is earned, be it Republican or Democrat. I vote for Republicans and Democrats in every election. How many of you can say that?

I don't care who you vote for I'm just pointing out factual errors in statements.

But to answer your question I vote for Democrats in local races. I don't in national races as long as the far left controls the party. Anytime a blue dog dem makes the National stage he is run off.

I find it comical when people call Republicans the small party tent . If you base it off skin color I guess it is partially accurate. If you base it off ideas the Democrats tent isn't small , it doesn't have sleeping room.

And please keep posting your information. I listen to it all. The more info, the better informed and the better decisions/opinions.

You make valid points that there are fewer total workers employed due to workers not looking for jobs. As the baby boomers continue to age out, it will likely take a long time for the total employed numbers to surpass where they were prior to the financial crisis.

The biggest failure of this POTUS is his foreign policy. We are much worse off today than six years ago in that aspect without a doubt.

Really? Tell me again what the Bush-Cheney wars in Asia accomplished.

I agree with Obama 1000000% that GLOBAL WARMING is the #1 threat to the US and world. I hope he can do more to help stop or slow this down.

I wish Al Gore had been elected instead of GW Bush.

I cant stand any of the Bush's, or that crook in Dick Cheney, he should be in jail.

Honestly, I don't know. I don't look at the little letters next to candidates names.

I am not going to say $5.00 gas will never happen. Someday, when inflation starts to happen again, it will get there. But it isn't happening in 2015 unless we have a major war/catastrophe. There is too much surplus and readily available oil for us to see $5.00 gas.

I would agree $4.00+ is highly likely before end of 2015, but may not hit the $5.00 threshold. However, the normal rules of supply/demand aren't applying presently....at least in a direct timing impact...as the supply has not been cut back yet. When it does, there will also be a lag in re-establishing the supply which is when the price will peak...assuming demand continues to grow.

Really? Tell me again what the Bush-Cheney wars in Asia accomplished.

I think the war could have been avoided with better "team play" between the US, Russian and France at the time...the UN was an absolute joke. However, without this team play and/or without this war, I believe we would still have Osama Bin Laden and several more like him running around, and I don't the world would be even as safe as it is now.

This is a statement that is falsely being pushed. Yes the Baby boomers is a large population. But that doesn't affect the number because the number looks at people of working age .

What is considered working age? Are people over 65? Over 70?

Tell me what Obama's apology tour has accomplished. ISIL/ISIS is running wild, Taliban is surging in Afghanistan, Boko Haram is raping and pillaging in West Africa, Egypt is in turmoil, Libya is in shambles, he is kissing Iran's butt and he thumbs his nose at Israel.

Yeah, bang up job he has done with foreign policy. It amazes me how the only come back to Obama's failures is "Well, what about Bush"? Get some new material, please.
