Jack of all Trades
As I have said on numerous occasions on these same airwaves, Highlands can certainly play with most if not all of the teams that are in the middle of the pack in NKY. Game was much closer than it should have been, but a win is a win no matter how many ways you slice it and dice it. Birds go for 3 straight on Saturday as they travel to Dayton to take on the Green Devils in a district seeding match.
Qryche11
Nice road win for the Birds. Also good to see Sr Justin Weyer stepping up and providing leadership while Parker Harris nurses his injury. Is there a box score anywhere?
malachicrunch
Is Ryle a middle of the pack team?
Qryche11
They have beaten Newport and North Oldham who the Birds both lost to. Their only other wins are over Beechwood and Ludlow though. They lost to Boone Co by 1 pt early in the year but Boone Co seems to be a true Dow Joneser this year.
stinkyboy II
Ryle has wins over Newport and Beechwood - so I would say they are part of the "middle of the pack". 9th region has 20 basketball playing schools. If you take out the top and bottom 5, Ryle would definitely fit in that middle 10.
Qryche11
I know Ryle is coached well with McFarland out there so you can bet they play hard. Solid road win for the Birds. Looks like the Footballers are starting to play themselves into Basketball shap. Cain, Weyer, Kendell all have had some nice games as of late. Hergott and Hebel are going to have to step up in the paint as the season progresses though.

Qryche11
Birds name the score. Agree...although the Devils are on a 2 or 3 game winning streak...it has come at the hands of wins over Latin, Calvary and SCPA who are a combined 5-23. Birds should get a chance to put it on em.
