^ - I see more of 2 technical fouls (1 on each player) vs 1 intentional foul.

 

I think nothing was going to get called until Talbot was agitated during the unpiling and got animated. Hinkle seemed to leverage the scrum to roll over Talbot.

 

So the for sake of keeping order a dual technical may have been a better call - from a Tuesday morning, not in attendance view.

 

I think a double technical or maybe even just a double foul would have been a better decision.

 

It could NEVER be a technical foul because it happened during live play. That is an important distinction.

 

It would be an intentional and possibly a flagrant intentional but not a T. A T happens during dead balls when it involves contact or it happens for a violation (hanging on the rim) or a coach yelling.

 

Why does it matter?

 

Let's say the game was really close. LexCath was losing by 2. BC #4 does whatever he did there to LC's worst free throw shooter.

 

If it's called correctly that it's an intentional foul then that bad FT shooter has to take the 2 shots.

If it's called incorrectly and called a T LC can have their best FT shooter go to the line.

 

It matters.

Regarding the bracket set up: a bracket such as this could certainly benefit BC come the "real tourney". I think it says a lot about LexCath's respect for your team in that the Rebels were invited.

First, I'm not sure the intentional foul was awful. If the kid kneed him intentionally getting up then it's the right call.
