Both of these teams have taken a bus 3 hours away from NKY to face off in the AIT.

 

Dixie beat East Carter 47-38 in round 1, but will be without 2 of their bigs... 6'8 starting center Mitch Bolin and 6'4 athletic wing Matt Isbel.

 

Holy Cross needed overtime to defeat winless Ashland 65-59 in round 1. The Indians were hitting 3's like it was their job against Ashland's 2-3 zone.

This should be a close competitive game IMO. Tyler Bezold has been sick and not 100%. Surprised he played last night. Tough kid.

No injuries. One is on a family vacation and the other had to have some serious dental work done... something that had to be taken care of asap. Both will be back soon.

After watching HC last night for the first time this year I really like Dixie's chances of a blowout. I'm not sure its a good matchup for HC, even with Dixie missing 2 key players.

I don't think Dixie scores enough to blow out anyone. I've been wrong before but I think this game is close.

HC has beaten some quality opponents so far this year in Cooper, Simon Kenton, Boone Co & even Scott is a solid team.
