Game changer: alley-oop to Bo from the inbound play in the fourth quarter. hyped the team and crowd up

Wow! Can't believe no one had already gobbled up that username! Nice job and welcome :)

BTW ... it was cool to see MTGL, Lawnboy13, and to meet TAC tonight!

Was so thrilled to be able to attend, and it was a great first game for me to take in to get my season rollin'.

Looking forward to many more.

Glad to see you out and about as well, enjoyed chatting with you as always.

When the Colonels managed to start turning things around, I was completely baffled as to what adjustments had been made to make it all happen, and to make the Camels seem to all of the sudden disappear.

My brother seemed to think that it was the defensive change made of taking CVH off of Jackson, and putting Theobald on him.

What did any of you notice that could be considered as the game changer in that situation early in the game?

I was very impressed by the contribution that Colonel bench made in coming in and playing with the tenacity that they did. Awesome to know that they have so many options.

If the stats are right.

0 assists for the Camels.

neither team shot well from outside.

Flood had a nice game for the Colonels.

Both teams had assists.

Thanks to Mentsch for saving me a seat with him and his son for the game.:thumb: Had a nice conversation with our favorite picture taker.

As for the game, was impressed with the Camels........for the 1st 4 minutes of the game. After that their offense seemed to go in the tank. CovCath did a real nice job of applying pressure on the ball-handlers and it showed. With Jackson and McGovney in foul trouble the Camels guard play was suspect.

Mentsch told me to watch the Flood kid before the varsity game started.........WOW, kid was impressive tonight. Also, Cooper Theobald played a terrific game, kid got some long arms and can get up off the floor. CVH was CVH.

2nd time seeing CovCath, and they looked a lot better than the St. Henry game.

2nd time seeing Campbell Co......this is the best in the 10th Region?

Really fun game to watch.

Saw a ton of coaches there, high school and college. Saw some D3's and at least 1 D2 school there. Assuming Wilson and Jackson are getting plenty of looks? Both have huge potential.

The Camels lack of scoring options, Jackson and Wilson are it, but you have to also credit CovCath's "D".

I gave them the Black Cat by going to the game.

Had I stayed home, checked the final score on BGP, I'm sure the Camels would have won by 20.

Paris beat LexChristian..........Augusta Beat Harrison County..............Harrison County played with Holmes.

I'm pretty sure that had I not made the trip to Park Hills via Walts Hitching Post (yum), Campbell COunty would have covered my spread.

There might also have been a possibility that I was being facetious.

It was a 1 point game after 3 quarters; not indicative of the final score. The Camels got into a bit of foul trouble, but they were forcing shots and settling for shots too early in the possession in the 2nd half. I think a huge difference was not having Trent McGovney on the floor. The Camels were a different team without him. Once the snowball started rolling downhill, the Camels couldn't stop it.

Don't feel bad...

To your credit, Campbell County is a very fine team. I had many nervous nail biting moments until late in the game when the Colonels finally gained their edge.

To be perfectly honest, if they played 5 times, I'd bet that the other 4 would be closer with the Camels perhaps even taking one or two of them.

The final score truly was no indication of how close these two teams really are.

41-39 CovCath after 3, but you are correct in theory. Great point about forcing shots, you're spot on. Felt like they allowed themselves to get sped up and then they fed into that with (bad) quick shots.

Dre came out incredibly aggressive (and effective). After his 6 point spurt to start the game, I can only remember one attacking move to the rim. Settled for 3's from there on out.

I'm a huge Wilson fan, that guy needs more touches on the low block. I'm sure I wasn't the only one that shook my head when he took an ill-advised 3 in the first half. I like how CovCath defended him with Romes, don't like how they defended him with Hepp, but the Camels never took advantage of the latter.

Was also surprised when the unsername was available! And taking CVH off of dre was helpful because you could tell it was tiring Cole and they needed his energy for offense.

If Wilson did not get enough touches that is on the coach unless CCH guards killed Camels perimeter players with pressure.
