With their JV kids.

Your telling me that every kid who tried to guard him was a jv player? Even if they were, your telling me the kids that didn't play could of stopped him! Menu looks good but I'm not buyin.

Dunbar had one kid who played tonight that plays varsity minutes. He had 32. Not taking anything away from Ohmer. He's an outstanding player. He shot about 25 free throws and made most if not all of them. But lets not act like he was facing the best defense in the world out there. Still good player and nice win for Scott. As I said in the prediction thread, Scott in a close one.

With all do respect, you are completely wrong. A good portion of his points came off turnovers, looking at the star sheet. If I remember right he had 8-12 free throws. Those coming off and one buckets. I'm not sure what game you were watching but you were watching the wrong one.

Ohmer also had 6 assists. It wasn't like he was taking every shot.

You are correct I looked again and he was 11-12 from the line. I'm not trying to take anything away from him he's a great player. Anytime you can score 42 points in a game regardless of who you are playing that's quite an accomplishment. But as you said he scored a lot off turnovers. Turnovers by kids that normally wouldn't be in the game. I'm not saying he wouldn't have had a big night regardless but when Dunbar is at full strength they have a lot more athletic and just overall better defenders they can throw at a kid like Ohmer.

I'm curious.

In a 3-point game, why are a bunch of JV guys playing? Why only one guy that gets varsity minutes? Is Dunbar resting their starters? Are they all hurt?

I'm curious.

Good question. I would like to know that too.

I'm curious.

I'm curious too. They had 5-7 kids in street clothes (not sure they all played for the team) and I was wondering why.

Congrats to Jake and the Eagles! :ylsuper:

I know kids have a tendency to not always do the right thing, but if Dunbar is missing 8 kids due to various discipline and grade issues, does it come down to their coach not doing what a high school coach is supposed to do? Again, not giving the kids a pass. They know what they need to do. But it sounds like coach has lost control.

Sounds to me like the coach is in complete control. He's making a big statement, that some may not have understood completely before.

Exactly!!!! It's about doing what's right not what's easy. Also not all kids that are out are not out because of disciplinary reason or grades. Their are injuries and sickness.
