I agree. NCC has some really nice young talent.

I dont watn to take away from the Varsity thread but quick question....what kind of size does the NCC JV have? I know they have strong guard play.

None really... I think if they played Jalen McDaniels and Jared Iles as big men they would improve the chemistry.. Brennan and Stephen all have played together and had much success.. Not taking away from Wurtz he just clearly not getting the job done. He needs work on posting up and rebounding. Just my view not saying he's not good just I think their is better. Just wouldn't leave much for Freshman team... Brennan style of play is passing and they come hard and quick Wultz and Trent both fumbled what could of been great passes and scoring from Hall the chemistry just isn't there.. some would say Hall played sloppy in the game but he's style of play is passing and to be honest Jared Iles and Jalen both know when it's coming...

NCC JV team is missing Austin Neff and Job Freppon who are still playing football. They will both be major contributors and will add significant strength.

Different eyes saw it a tad differently. I saw too many out of control bad passes. Forced. In traffic. Very little chance of success.

 

He will learn as he matures. Bright future.

This will be a lot of fun for the next 4 years. Glad I don't have to sit and listen to it on a nightly basis.

Fact is many kids you mentioned are not going to be 6'7" (Wurtz is). The old saying is you can't teach size.

 

Why would you not try to develop a 6'7" Soohomore at the JV level? Wurtz did come into the varsity game and grabbed 2 quick rebounds.

 

Wurtz has some nice low posts moves. Needs to add strength and aggressiveness.

I think Ben played the best. He was blocking shots, big rebounds, making big plays and them three’s he was dropping was so nice… He is and will be fun to watch this and next year. I think he deserves way more credit though. Without him I don’t see Drew lasting Ben picks up the slack and is a major major player. MVP in my eyes. He's my favorite other them John... that boy can shoot eye balls out... lol

Ben had a great game! He is a very well rounded player. Fun to watch. NCC is so solid. In my opinion they are the team to beat in NKY. Hear they have Cooper on Saturday. Will be a good test for Cooper.

There is way too much upside for this young man. Some more muscle on that frame and a much more aggressive attitude under the basket..........look out. :eek:

I will defend Drew because you called him out. Drew was double teamed the entire night. He was guarded by their top post player. He will see this every game. Again, this has nothing to do with Weyers game. He is a tremendous player and you are right he probably could get more recognition if he played on a team that didn't have multiple seniors ahead of him.

Please readers understand Weyer played awesome and is an extremely important piece to the NCC machine. I love Weyer.
