Bingo!!!

None really... I think if they played Jalen McDaniels and Jared Iles as big men they would improve the chemistry.. Brennan and Stephen all have played together and had much success.. Not taking away from Wurtz he just clearly not getting the job done. He needs work on posting up and rebounding. Just my view not saying he's not good just I think their is better. Just wouldn't leave much for Freshman team... Brennan style of play is passing and they come hard and quick Wultz and Trent both fumbled what could of been great passes and scoring from Hall the chemistry just isn't there.. some would say Hall played sloppy in the game but he's style of play is passing and to be honest Jared Iles and Jalen both know when it's coming...

:popcorn: Uh oh.....wait for it......wait for it.....

oooh man Im late

How much of a difference does Dixies missing football players make. I know both are still playing football but Dixie was missing starters. Or same result? Does ncc have any footballers that will contribute

I kind of like people that speak there mind and are not afraid to formulate an opinion. Gives me something to read......

And as a side note the NCC talent level is just plain sick. I mean really? How about sharing the wealth....:ylsuper:..... Looking at the JV roster, the freshman playing up, plus all the varsity talent.............oh and go ahead and toss in a top notch coach....just does not seem fair.

Who coaches Ncc jv team?

I think Ben played the best. He was blocking shots, big rebounds, making big plays and them three’s he was dropping was so nice… He is and will be fun to watch this and next year. I think he deserves way more credit though. Without him I don’t see Drew lasting Ben picks up the slack and is a major major player. MVP in my eyes. He's my favorite other them John... that boy can shoot eye balls out... lol

As the comment to your idea of not playing Wurtz indicated so does this one. Please stop trying to say who is better than who by using names. All this does is start problems. Ben does a great job, and he gets plenty of credit. Apparently someone thought differently about who played the best as the player of the game award went to McDonald. They are a TEAM, lets leave it at that.

Whomever invented the player of the game award should be committed. Such a bad idea in a team sport like basketball.

Sshall - to say a sophomore player isn't "getting the job done" after his first game is a little over the top. JV is for developing players so they are ready to play at the next level, varsity ball. Wurtz has some work to do, as do all the kids on NewCath's JV and freshman teams. Chemistry will come as the players learn to play with each other. You can't dismiss sophomores just bc you want the kids who have been playing together for years, and already have team chemistry, to continue playing with only those with whom they grew up. If that was the case very few teams would even be able to field a varsity team bc there aren't enough kids in their class. The beauty of high school is meeting new people and new challenges, Learning to play off of each others strengths and weaknesses and coming together as a team.

As far as pitting the varsity players against each other, you're treading dangerous waters. This team is extremely close and will not allow outside influences to affect their season. Ben is very good. Drew is very good. Independently, they would be very good on any given team. Collectively they will be great together.

Who coaches Ncc jv team?

1984 alum, Jimmy Pangallo

[video=youtube_share;k_r6yCIVdn4]

Here's a perfect example of the chemistry Drew and Pangallo have. Pangallo had the ball at the top of the key. Drew was at the high post being guarded closely. No obvious signal given (ie he didn't nod his head or give a hand signal) yet Drew did a quick spin and the ball was already in the air for a lob pass to Drew. Fun to watch.
