I've been converting her over the years, she went to UC and she was hardcore on the bandwagon last March. A few new items will help even more with that.

I've read that some people expect overall shopping sales to be down a bit from last year but that online sales as a percentage of the total are expected to be way up yet again. I don't know. I think the average American consumer is going to shell out a little more cash this year than last. Low gas prices will compensate for employment and wage levels that have been holding steady.

Little box said sales in 2013 were $1.7 bil and are projected to hit $2.0 bil. Artile read Cyber Monday is losing luster. Users down to 127Mil from 131Mil. Online sales up 14.5% on Thanksgiving (over half done on tablets or smartphones). Overall fewer people shopped online and in stores over the weekend, down 5.2%. Total spending down to $50.9 Bil thru Sunday down from $57.4 Bil. Not great information to figure out what is really going on. We will see how it ends up.

I was able to purchase this amazing television with an FHA loan (30 year fixed-rate w/ 4.25% APR) and only 3.5% down. This is, hands down, the best decision I've ever made. And the box it came in is incredibly roomy too, which is a huge bonus, because I live in it now.

I'm done. $400 before discount at a place like Kohl's is really like $138 at most places that don't play the high/low game. Savings are all a matter of perception.
December 2, 201411 yr I've finally convinced my entire family that instead of buying a lot of things we don't need (cause we all have enough STUFF), that we should put all the money together an donate it to a worth while charity. It should be a good lesson for all our kids to learn.
