November 30, 201411 yr I'm certain UGA was the favorite as a higher ranked team at home. (Having checked it, they were favored by 10.5) Clemson was favored by 4.5, FSU by 7.5, Louisville by 13.5. So it was a 2-2 day ATS. So what was supposed to happen, happened? The top end of the ACC whipped the bottom of the SEC, with one upset.
November 30, 201411 yr I can't decide if what FSU is doing is impressive or not. I get what you're saying, but at the end of the day, they've yet to lose. I say impressive.

And yet before the day began there were those who predicted it would be a sweep in the opposite direction. But as soon they fail to win, it becomes SEC East and bottom of the SEC. Whether they're truly the "bottom of the SEC" is debatable. Each has shown themselves capable. Yes, the three other than Georgia did not fare well against the SEC West. But then again Georgia lost to both Florida and South Carolina while beating Arkansas and crushing Auburn (who, you know, is kinda doing well right now against the flagship SEC West program). Florida and South Carolina both went to the wire with LSU and Auburn respectively. All we can do is make these transitive comparisons to the SEC West because that division played four OOC Power 5 teams COLLECTIVELY. And none after I believe the third or fourth week. The SEC often insulates itself against these types of debates because there is so little to go on out of conference. And anything, virtually ANYTHING that doesn't fit that narrative for them is discredited. It's why we make the cracks about "Alabama was disinterested" because literally every time they lose OOC in a bowl game that's what we hear.

December 1, 201411 yr Just got back from Tallahassee. Great times as usual and always good to beat FlorDuh. I see the sec spin machines are already at work. BTW, with Gators loss, the SEC is now 5-6 against other Power-5 conference schools and 0-4 Saturday.
