Against him. He played for Bryan Station, I played for Ashland. Detmonti Dawson and Marc Logan were also on that Bryan Station team. We beat them on their field when they were ranked #1 during the regular season. They beat us in the Regional finals at our place later that year.

Baker was never going to go to Boyd, not sure why that's even a question.

Baker had 250. Was offered and accepted stoops offer for a scholarship as a junior. But I guess you know better?

Kid is a baller no doubt!!!! And from I saw tonight ultra competive and willing to play defense as well (you don't see that a lot these days) I'm a fan! Just saying outside of 2 runs he was contained.

There have been a handful of people in this thread that have answered the actual question. The rest have either given their opinion on baker while avoiding the question, then another handful of people that haven't even acknowledged the question.

Only one that I have witnessed in the last 4 years was the kid from Elder back in 2012. There may have been others but that is the only one that sticks out.

:laugh::laugh: That's awesome. Great idea. Bettet yet, just delete the whole thread. Because Baker had at least 7 less carries than the 30 plus some Highlands fans stated he had, and it's obviously a very offensive thread for some Highlands fans that some kid from a terrible EKY school rushed for over 200 yards against mighty Highlands. Most would even consider this thread trash talking.

You are right and there is a reason for this and I could answer this but it would be aiding the enemy...and Highlands fans don't do that.:thumb:

HHS is a program. Congrats to the Ashland Bakers ( I mean Tomcats). Kid had a jet once he got daylight.

By the way very nice, respectful and complimentary comments by Coach Weinrich and young Mr. Kendall about Baker and the Tomcats from the story in the Ashland paper. I'll have to check with the sportswriter to make sure, but by his comments Coach Weinrich sure didn't seem to be offended when asked about Baker's night, nor did he follow it up by ending his comments with " Yeah he had a couple nice runs against us, but we still won and the boys from Ashland are going home losers tonight. Are you going to cover us next week since you won't have a Tomcat game to cover?"

It's a shame some of their fans, and I know Highlands has a lot of great, classy fans, can't learn a thing or two about class from the coach and their players.

Baker was something to see when he broke through the line! Can't wait until he gets to UK. How big is he?
