November 15, 201411 yr I think Cal knows the platoon won't work either, at least not in the long run. He's just got so much talent that I think this is his way to let the players themseves see who should have the most minutes. It won't take too long into the season for them to figure that out. I suppose it's a way to let them down easy without any turmoil. He has some kind of calulations where he computes 20 minutes of play as if it were 34 minutes. After a few weeks show them the stats and then make the proper adjustments.
November 15, 201411 yr Lyles is way too good to only play 18 minutes. That won't last long. I don't know, like I said he led the team in FG attempts and 3 Atts. 10 more minutes and he'd be in Kobe territory,lol
