Serious question, has Highlands struggled in the kicking game this year? I see that they have went for it twice now on 4th down scenarios. They scored a td on one, turned the ball over on downs on the other. It seems given their depth and talent they would be happy with the short FG.

They were at the one and got stopped, scored when they went for it at the 4 yard line I believe.. Ashland gets it back after a missed highlands fg.

48 yd FG try. Plenty of leg but wide...

 

Doubt it.. I am curious how many backs have ran 96 yards on highlands in one play this year though.. Baker is the real deal.

Sloppy first half for the Birds...left 2 TD's on the field and then poor clock management at end of half - no FG attempt??

 

Need to clean up some things for next week - assuming they put this away in second half. HHS D has played great except for one play and offense has moved the ball at will until inside the 5.

Agreed, luckily it didnt cost them anything though. The big play of the game so far has been the safety/turnover by Ashland. Unfortunately I believe Ashland will be gassed in the second half.

For the second time tonight HHS has first and goal from 1 and does not score...ugh...bad snap and fumble recovered by Ashland...This game should be 30-7 but is still 16-7...

They scored on one of the two.. They attempted a 4th down conversion on both. Scored from the 4 yard line, was stopped at the 1 on the second try.

First possession of game stopped on 1. Another possession had bad snap from 1 or 2 yard line that Ashland recovered. They scored on 4th down on another drive.
