Madison Central 81 Hazard 44

Featured Replies

Madison Central looked as good as any team I have seen in the tourney. They have great size and shoot the ball well. They also had the biggest fan base at the tourney. Their crowd probably doubled any other team there.

I noticed that too. Their crowd was huge. Guess 1/2 of Madison Co. shut down.

The best team didnt win the 14th region this year.

May be true...... but I doubt any other 14th region team would have faired any better against MC.

I believe that Madison Central may have the best chance to win the Sweet 16. Beating a team that bad gives you a chance to rest your starters, and make a run at a title.

Especially if you're in the lower bracket - one less rest day.

Impressive. Kept Hazard way off track and just dominated. Best team I have seen play there this week. Missed the South Laurel game but MC looks to be firing at the right time. Great crowd.

Not a goodshowing for the 14th this year. Hazard may not be the best team in it but they did get the job done at the right time. Congrats to Hazard to make it that far but too bad they couldnt represent the 14th better.

I'm not disrespecting MC but i believe there are other teams in the 14th that would of made this a better game.

Ok!!! So who was the best team? Because hazard looked like the best team to me. They beat Perry, Leslie, JBS, Wolfe, and Jackson City in the Post-Season.

If that aint the best I dont know what is.

Hazard lost only 3 region games all year, and came out and beat those three teams in the post-season. (Perry, Wolfe, and Jackson City) So they beat everyone they played in the region.

I think both Perry and Leslie had better overall teams but they just peaked at the wrong time, mid to late regular season. It happens at all levels of basketball, and just for example;Madison Central probally wasnt the best team in their region but they still won it!!No disrespect to Madison Central, they have a very, very good team.
