KHSAA has no backbone so they would never do anything that severe. Probably why KHSAA ruled him eligible.

So then you are punishing the adults and kids who didn't cheat by cutting there season short because they got beat by the cheaters.

Can't see how justice would be served by punishing the kids who didn't even play on the cheating team. The discussion started when ohsaa punished all programs for one's sins.

If it was just the team, yes. But we are taking all if the sports for the school. That is way over the line.

Update on the OSHAA penalties at Fairland. The school has offered something to the OHSAA and they drop the fine to $5K and probation only. This would allow the kids to participate in league (OVC) and post-season play. No decision has been given to the proposal.

The local TV station (WSAZ- 3) reports that Huntington High (WV) is who reported Fairland to the OHSAA. The initial penalties that were being considered were based on multiple players being recruited to play at Fairland plus the initial Summer involvement I mentioned prior.

People often lose sight of what gives the best opportunity for the kid to succeed. If you don't want a kid to transfer, be better and make your program more appealing without excuses.
