Who are some teams that could be considered a sleeper?

I would say Newport, but I think they should of been ranked as the season went on, so I wouldn't consider them sleeper. I don't know if there are any. I think 2a this year is the "have's and have not's". If you believe what comes out of the west as gospel, you'd think the state champ has already been crowned between 1 of 3 teams. After looking at some of their scores, I don't think they play a whole lot of defense so it could make things interesting in BG.

Christian Academy-Louisville and DeSales are the best defensive teams in 1A. Both of them have allowed less than 100 points on the season. I believe they rank #2 and #3 in the entire state, all classes, in points allowed.

Sleeper- Danville

Murray, they have played a very tough schedule. If they can make it out of that Monster Region, then they would be a sleeper. The remind me of the Desales team a couple of years ago. Not a very solid in-season team but a great playoff team. If Murray is not out of gas or beat up, then I think they have a shot. Best of Luck to all of those in 2A.

Injuries have been a problem the last half of the season, but if this team can pull together they will make a strong run.

Awesome, I get to drive 2 miles and watch Danville battle Eastern KY the next two weeks.

Bardstown definitely should not be counted out. CAL better watch out come round 2.

Why not? They haven't been listed in the top 10 all year long and they have a legit possibility of making it to the regional finals.
