My son goes to WKU, isn't at the game but he said earlier there was freezing rain. What are game conditions? Any impact on the game?

I'm sure he is talking about "fast/athletic" teams, nothing else.

 

I took it to mean jumping out to huge leads on good teams where the game was expected to be close. Like CCH.

Internet broadcast said the rain stopped about 15 minutes before the game. Still cold and windy though.

After last year I expected the 36, just not the -0-. I was thinking something like something like 56-35. On the internet broadcast, they said WC does have 204 yards at halftime and Feggins has 94 yds receiving himself...so they are moving the ball but cannot sustain a complete drive.

 

Driving long distances and not finishing. First drive killed by snap over QBs head on first down. Next to last drive simply couldn't finish on the long field. But like the Owensboro game, I thought it was a poor choice to take the ball and give the wind to start. Because the wind knocked down every WC punt and made it absurdly easy for Highlands to score. More than it already was.

No disrespect to Dragon fire but I think a non bias fan would have to admit that the new coaching staff didn't do much in their first regular season. WCHS knew there were only 4 tough games on schedule. They lost all 4.

 

Playoffs may be better for them (or not) but first 10 games for the "new" and "professional" staff was a bust.

Anyone close to the program say they were fast and athletic? I've posted they're the slowest WC team I could remember.

Hoge with a 40 yard pass.

Hoge is starting 2nd half. I play him no more than one series this half and get him and other starters out of the game.

I think the Henderson County game isn't speaking well of them either. Personally, I don't have any doubt Highlands is significantly better than Owensboro. To be honest, I've been steadfast before that Highlands was the better team.

 

I don't disagree. I just don't think people should sleep on Owensboro.

I don't think they will sleep on them. They're going to make the finals IMO. But there's very little doubt in my mind what the result will be.

HHS had second and goal from the 1 on first drive of second half. Bad snap made it 3rd and 23! Ended up trying 40 yard FG and missed it.
