I had no clue he was kicked out of Georgia. It's Jameis Winston. A Heisman winner not just a random dude on FSU. He's a baller first and foremost, but he is incredibly interesting for as many times as he can trip over his own shoe laces and still prevail. Sport's fans love a good villian, and Winston is that because he comes through on the field. I do not know what it has to do with the SEC. If it is interesting, it will sell despite the flaws (see Manziel).

MSST still plays Bama/Miss Bama still plays LSU/MSST/Auburn Auburn still plays Miss/UGA/Bama Miss still plays Auburn/MSST Then whichever one of those wins the west gets UGA in the championship game. It will work out. I say 2 SEC teams plus some combo of FSA/Oregon/Mich St. Outside shot for TCU or K State.

Said Michigan State is a very long shot. :idunno: They've got work to do, but wins over OU, TCU, WVU, and Baylor, with a 6 point loss to Auburn would be worth talking about. Mich St will have hard time getting enough quality wins.

October 28, 201411 yr The conspiracy stuff is ludicrous. I do think there is some faulty analysis regarding the relative strength of the SEC over time and a lot of it stemmed from the way college football was set up. The dominance of the SEC became self-fulfilling on an annual basis as they ran through that succession of national championships. I'm hoping that changes with the new playoff. A balance of power in college football is far better for the overall health of the sport. I'm a Notre Dame football fan but I don't understand the faulty analysis comment. Any way you measure the SEC has dominated the National landscape. You can look at titles , out of conference wins , bowl wins , NFL draft picks , recruiting classes . I mean in almost every measurable way the SEC has been the best. I hate it I want Notre Dame on top but I have to admit what is fact. It's kind of funny to hear Big 10 fans complain about bias. It's basically what propped up their football conference for a couple decades .
