NKY Football Week 10 Rankings

As the teams stand right now I put Cov Cath in the top four. They were on their third and fourth QBs against Beechwood and Ryle. Healthy they beat Dixie. They are back to healthy for the most part.

get your facts straight.

Wagner (QB1) got knocked out of the Beechwood game late in CCH first drive. Dressman (QB2) went out on CCH last drive. Dressman played something like 8 games at QB last year so its not like he is a scrub. He beat Beechwood last year. McGinnis (QB3) replaced dressman on that last drive and scored via a 50 yd run on the first play he QB'd.

Beechwood beat Cov Cath in a game they had nearly all their guys. Beechwood was also had missing/injured players for the game!

I don't put CCH anywhere near the top 5 imo. Which is totally different than what I thought after week 3 where I had CCH as possibly #1

They have fallen big time and yes some has to do with injuries but some also has to do with teams figuring them out. Unlike what you want to believe, CCH had Wags back for the Beechwood game and also had their starting QB from last year take his place when he got hurt in the Beechwood game. CCH wasn't as banged up as you think for that game when it started.

Wags played about 5 plays against BW.

Not making excuses, but just reporting facts- in fact, Wagner went out of the game on @ the 5th offensive play for Cov Cath. Dressman- who has not played more than a handful of snaps all year at QB due to a nagging injury - came in and played the remainder of the game up till late in the 4th when he got hurt and McGinness took over. Losing your starting QB (who was playing like one of the top QB's in N Ky) early in your first drive would hurt any team. Would Cov Cath have beaten Beechwood with Wagner? Don't know, but would have been a much different game. As it was, they still had some shots, but the defense did not stop Beechwood when they had to- and the offense did not sustain drives when they had to. This is also the same game where Cov Cath lost a starting Corner and Strong Safety.

CovCath has 70 plus kids on their roster no excuses!

Last I heard CCH was still missing a ton of their players. First two QB's and their top RB and WR? Not sure of other positions out. If this is the case they are not top 5, no way. If they get them all back they jump up the list. How far will depend on how well the injured players come back. Running out of time though.

Yet injuries have been your go to excuse dozens of times in the past. Funny stuff.

I am not taking anything away from Beechwoods win. They knocked Wags out of the game... In the first drive and CCH was driving.

A lot of people are putting Dixie way up there and CCH beat them. They lost to HHS, Moeller, and a very good rival in Beechwood. Ryle loss was injury ridden. IMO this week they are up there.

Welcome to my world...I'm a Cooper fan and even though they beat Ryle they are still put behind Ryle in many peoples minds.

Really? Dillon Powell missed 5 games last year and 2 this year he is the best running back SK has never once made an excuse! SK is also missing their starting safety all season in Mulberry. Next player in no excuses from Indepedence. You are wrong!

SK hasn't made excuses, you have. Over and over. Just as CCH is not making excuses, their fans have.

And your excuse for SK losing to Dixie (who Cov Cath wrecked) was what? Oh yeah, " they let them win". You've become a caricature of yourself.

The bolded is what I was going to say also. Having your starting QB Wagner definitley could of made a difference but when the defense still couldn't slow BW down we don't know if a healthy Wags would of made a difference in the outcome.

I don't make excuses SK got beat one game no big deal. Time to win it all in the playoffs!
