Timmy Taylor Commits to Lincoln Memorial

Featured Replies

I just noticed that Timmy Taylor is no longer listed on Lincoln Memorial's roster and hasn't played since December 5. Anyone know what happened?

I saw one LMU game early in the season and he didn't get in the game. Maybe he was disappointed with playing time and transferred but that's just a guess.

I heard he left the program and may end up at Georgetown.

I too saw a game and he played quite a bit in that one. I was also told that he played close to 30 minutes in his last game with them.

I had heard similar things as well. I was told he was playing quite a bit.

According to the stats he played in 5 games with an average of 15 minutes in those games. LMU is a very good team. They redshirt a lot of players and I'd say playing time as a freshman is hard to earn.

nobody wants to wait their turn any more. Idk if thats what happened here or not but far to many times kids and parents don't want to earn it.

I can end all the speculation. Timmy just wasn't happy at LMU. And if you think playing time was the issue, he played 27 minutes the last game before he left.

Sometimes kids go to a college and aren't happy. It happens.

LMU seems like one of those schools that kids are destined to leave.

Is he headed to Georgetown or looking for somewhere to play? He's definitely good enough to play at the next level somewhere. I hope he continues to play and gets a college education.

He'll definitely play somewhere. When we last spoke he wasn't sure yet. But that doesn't mean he hasn't already made a decision. I haven't talked with him in a couple of weeks.

Hope he finds a school where he will be happy. Too good not to be playing and getting his education paid.

Lots of assists waiting for him at Campbellsville. :D

Meanwhile, Lincoln Memorial is playing for the national championship on CBS right now.

I told y'all LMU was very good!
