Keep tellling yourself that if it makes you feel better but thanks for the reminder of why other schools generall don't like your fans. I just think it is funny how anything Mercer related on this site is dominated by Boyle fans on here trying to hate. I don't know why Boyle fans are so worried about a school they think is so inferior. I rarely post anything on here unless it is a response to someone attacking our school or community and unfortunalty Boyle fans are the only school doing that.

 

 

It comes with the territory. Boyle County and our fans have been hated on for years. Nothing new here. I'm just interested in why you are so caught up with what I say when others say the same thing. Some of whom aren't even Boyle County fans but I guess they just become Boyle County fans when they speak on Mercer County. Keep in mind this thread was started by a Mercer County fan.

 

I know plenty of people in Mercer County. Plenty of people connected to or with ties to the Mercer County program. I get most of my information about Mercer County from Mercer County people or from my own personal experiences in Mercer County. I've criticized Mercer County, Boyle County, Danville, I've criticized everyone on here at some point. I've also been very supportive of Mercer County on here and I've been way more supportive of Mercer County than any Boyle County poster probably in the history of BGP. Hell, I've said a lot of the same things you have said in this thread but you got sensitive when I spoke on some truths about things that have happened in the past at Mercer County. I'm always going to say what I feel but go ahead and keep coming at me like all I do is dog Mercer County. I'll be sure to make sure my union still donates money to all the Mercer County programs that ask us for money. I'll be sure to keep donating time and energy like I have in the past to Mercer County programs that have asked for such. I'll be sure to keep attending games of Mercer County kids that I used to coach in Mercer County rec leagues and I'll be sure to keep criticizing Mercer County anything when I feel like doing so.

You know as a fan of Boyle and former fan of Mercer. I lost all respect for the Mercer program last year with how their fans reacted. Ignorantly and arrogantly. I sat there filming in the press box and all you can see and hear is the non nonsportsmanship conduct from their fans. Ive only been cussed at once and that was at North Laruel. I never get cussed at by Danville fans. I never have been cussed at by Lexington Catholic fans. I have been given the bird for some reason when I was getting on the bus this year from a Catholic student but I have never seen such a display of disrespect as Mercer County fans gave us November 15th, 2013. It is one of them things where I personally will never forget not because it was memorable but rather because I've never had such hatered built up for some fan base. Im not saying you did any of that behavior but you still support it by your actions about beating us last year. You didn't see us singing and dancing and being unsporting when we beat you 51-0 but whenever you beat us by 1 point then its like your championship. I feel disrespected by Mercer since that day and I will continue to shun upon Mercer till they prove otherwise. I have nothing left to say about that night and I am done speaking about Mercer as they have nothing left in this season other than this friday when Dunbar beats them.

 

I was at the game last year, and didn't see anything overtly disrespectful, unless you are talking about the rushing the field... Which was just the excitement of finally beating one of the big guys on the block.

 

As for Coach Pardue -- talk of him being fired are silly. First two winning seasons since the 2006 season, playoff win against Boyle. I am sure the the principal and superintendent are fine with his performance.

Mercer has never been any good, even the year they took state if they would have played in their appropriate class they would have been maybe a second round play off team.
