I didn't get to see the game but I read that the Elder line caused problems all night for the Birds D. My memory tells me Elder has a 4 or 5* lineman in the bunch.

I still go back to the play before halftime. Highlands punts, Elder calls for a fair catch and it is "muffed". Highlands player picks it up on the bounce and is easily going to the "house" (would have scored EASILY)), but fumbles exchanging from one arm to the other and Elder recovers it. Two plays later Ramsey goes to the "house" from 52 yards out with 00:52 left in the half.

Huge part of the team and he's made plenty of plays! Just has to forget it and move on. Second season is coming, the important one.
