Way too early to set anything in stone, but based on current wins and predicted wins next week, I think Fleming County will host Garrard County and Mason County will travel to Bourbon County in the first round of the playoffs. Obviously still a lot of football to be played before the District 5 tiebreaker can be solved.

What is the tie-breaker? Bourbon, Garrad and Estill are in three way tie in both record and head to head. What's the third tie breaker? I looked at points given up. That would send Mason to Bourbon and Fleming home against Estill.

Litratings has (before the weekend's games) Mason County at #12 (88.0) and Fleming at #13 (87.7).

I knew they were close due to comparing games against common opponents but Fleming winning is still an upset. Fleming hasn't won enough in the head to head series for it not to be.

I don't know where I saw it, but thought Mason County was No. 9 and don't recall seeing Fleming County in the top 15. Maybe someone else can confirm or maybe don't know what I am talking about. I could be underestimating Fleming but thought Mason would win this by 10 or so.
